TUITION

 

Ross has been teaching aspiring pipers young and old for many years and aims to create a positive and exciting learning environment in lessons. His roster of online students covers Switzerland, USA, France, Germany and the UK. 

 

Ross was previously the Bagpipe instructor for the Isle of Arran Music School, Wellington School in Ayr and for South Ayrshire Council.

 

He teaches complete beginners but also pipers looking to improve their playing and achieve their piping goals. Ross is the Piping Director for the BAG-National Youth Pipe Band of Germany. 

 

Over the years Ross has regularly travelled to teach at the Dudelsack Akademie in Frankfurt, Germany and has taught as part of the RCS Musicworks scheme and Fèisan Nan Gaidheal. He has also taught at the National Piping Centre, Glasgow.

In 2022, Ross was nominated for 'Music Tutor of the Year' at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
